OSAID chapters operate in secondary and high schools throughout the province. They all share the same purpose and operate in the same way. Students teach their peers about the dangers of impaired driving. OSAID chapters don't operate in isolation.

A chapter is a group of students who work together to raise awareness about the issues. They plan and organise events, projects and campaigns.  They operate with the school's permission and with a staff advisor who does just that - advise. The work, the driving force comes from the students.
