How to Join OSAID Students - How to join OSAID How to become an Ambassador

The OSAID Ambassador    ...     change starts with one...

Sometimes one person is all that it takes to make things change.  Sometimes only one student feels the immediate need to spread the message to the rest of the school about the dangers of driving while impaired. Sometimes it takes someone of strength of character. Sometimes it takes someone with the courage of his or her own convictions. Sometimes it takes someone to stand up for what they feel is right. Sometimes it takes someone like you. Is now your time?

If your school does not have an OSAID chapter or group but you feel the issue is so important that it would be better to have at least one person spreading the message about the dangers of driving when under the influence of drink or drugs or while distracted, then the OSAID Ambassador program is for you.

OSAID Ambassadors are single students who, with the approval of and help from staff at their schools spread the message: they put up posters, plan and stage events and activities, maybe even prepare an assembly presentation. They may work on their own but their work is vitally important. Driving responsibly is a essential  lesson  and those who teach it and learn it are helping to reduce the incidences of the largest killer of teens – impaired driving.
